Description
Sunrise at the 12 Apostles. This is one of the most iconic and photographed areas along the Great Ocean Road, looking towards Gibsons Beach at 2 of the 12 Apostles. The south coast of Victoria, along the Great Ocean Road, often experiences unpredictable weather with high winds and clouds can quickly blow in from Bass Strait. You have to also ensure you setup early before the buses full of tourists arrive from Melbourne or from other parts of Victoria. After a few failed attempts at photographing the sunrise here with rain and overcast mornings, I was able to capture this beautiful sunrise lighting up the sky above Gibsons Beach at the 12 Apostles, Victoria, Australia.
In local lingo, Gog and Magog are what people call the two towering sea stacks visible from the viewing platform and, when the tide and sea conditions allow, right from the beach level.
This beautiful image of the Sunrise at the 12 Apostles is sure to look amazing in your home living area or in your office board room! This print is not just a depiction of a sunrise; it’s an invitation to experience the awe of the Australian coast, a daily reminder of the world’s unspoken wonders, and a perfect blend of art and nature to inspire and enrich your everyday surroundings.
