Description
The sun was simply glowing the night I was photographing the sunset at Glasshouse Rocks. These rocks are randomly standing along this peaceful beach at Narooma, along the South Coast of New South Wales.
I love how the beach is relatively flat, allowing for the shallow tide to create reflections as the waves gently move across it. I was able to use filters to create the effect of movement in the clouds and water, slowing the shutter speed down while keeping the camera steady on my waterproof tripod. It’s not often that all of the conditions line up and on this occasion, the smile didn’t leave my face for some time after! I was so happy with this sunset on my first visit to Glasshouse Rocks!
Taken at Narooma, New South Wales, Australia.
